The partial lunar eclipse started around midnight on Sunday night (June 3-4).

Observatories on Haleakala, dominated by the silvery housing of the Air Force's telescope used for tracking satellites and orbiting debris.
Although it looks comfortable, the wind was blowing hard! 50+ mph winds were recorded on this day, causing us a lot of worry about the day of the transit (the next day).
