Two Perseid meteors (near each other).
Captured on a film frame is the brightest meteor I saw myself. This one lit up the ground and left a lingering trail.
This is a meteor shot that should teach us not to turn our cameras off too early! This was a bright one to be seen so close to dawn.
This is an enhancement of the previous frame.
This shows the remnants of the ionization trail from the meteor in the previous frame.
The bright trail in the center is one of many airplanes. The Perseid meteor is the streak with green and magenta colors near the bright "star" which is actually Jupiter.
This is another bright Perseid meteor at the eastern horizon near dawn. Also visible are a second meteor (upper right), and the zodiacal light.
